Surface Finishes

Very durable – very Natural.

To ensure that you get long-lasting pleasure from your HARO Wood Floor, we offer you three different surface finishes: very durable, very natural, or the best of both worlds. PERMADUR natural matt is ideal for those who prefer a true low-maintenance wood floor that is not only very simple to clean and care for, but also has a tough and durable surface.

Or should it be an easy-care wood floor with an authentic natural look? Then the bioTec oil-wax finish with the natural look and feel is the perfect choice. The naturaLin plus “breathing” natural oil finish is the ultimate for anyone who loves a very natural and expressive wood floor. And with our innovative clean & green aqua oil, oiled surfaces are now effortless to maintain.

Wood Types and Wood Colours That Inspire!

The particularly diverse variety of our Wood Flooring range offers unprecedented design possibilities. The expression and colours of our wood types play a special role. The variety ranges from light, dark or vibrant through to calm or timeless.

HARO Wood Flooring is the first wood floor brand to be 100% PEFC certified. This means that all the wood we use is sourced from certified, sustainably managed forests.

Colour Changes

As a natural material, each wood species has its own distinctive features. This includes the most various interactions with air and light or UV light. While light wood gets darker with time, dark wood species tend to lighten. Why is that? It is because of lignin, which is a key wood compound. Lignin changes the colour of the wood when exposed to sunlight. Tropical wood species can strongly alter when exposed to light. Iroko and Doussie wood tend more towards a dark brown tone. The wood types with the steadiest colour tones are African Oak, Oak Carbon Black and the colour-refined wood types – almost no colour alteration. Our wood floors with solid-coloured top layers are also very colour fast.
